There were many independent suggestions for
predictions about events on the
Summer Solstice, June 21, 2001, with the most direct coming from the
World Earth Healing Day organizers.
The description was an invitation
for people around the world to join in three
simultaneous worldwide linkups. The first was scheduled at 7.30am GMT;
the second at 11.50am GMT
during a solar eclipse visible in the southern hemisphere; the third was
scheduled for 7pm GMT. Each linkup was to last for at least 20
minutes. During this time people were urged to
meditate, pray, dance, sing, sit quietly,
or perform a symbolic act. "Whatever you do, and wherever you are, dedicate
your intent to the expansion of love and awareness on the Planet, and as
you contemplate your connection with all things, sense the ripples of what you
do spreading outwards to uplift all."
The formal analysis concentrated on the data from the three time
periods,
and specified 20 minutes for each. A high expectation was specified,
and the data were processed with seconds resolution.
The figure shows the concatenated, superimposed results for the three
time periods. The result is a modest positive trend, with a Chi-square
of 1241.8 on 1200 df and p = 0.195.
