Sri Lanka Peace Meditation

A prediction for Sri Lanka Peace Meditation event on March 15 2001, was registered Mar 24 by Peter & Trudy Johnson-Lenz. Their description was of a powerfully focused event, albeit local in the sense that it was not widely publicized in the media.

On March 15, more than 500,000 people in Sri Lanka gathered to meditate for peace at the Sarvodaya People's Peace Operation 2002. They were silent, all in white, and the meditation itself lasted several hours. Sharif M. Abdullah, a long time friend, was there and provided a detailed description of the remarkable experience. He also gave the needed information to specify the event:
Dr. Ariyaratne mounted to podium to begin the meditation at 3:40 pm. The meditation continued until 4:45 pm. This converts to 9:40 am - 10:45 am GMT.
The formal event specification was 09:40 to 10:45 GMT, using seconds resolution, and the standard analysis. The results did not show a strong departure from expectation, and the final Chisquare for the specified period is 3847.9 on 3861 df, for a p-value of 0.556. I did take a cursory look at the data for the two Indian eggs which were geographically close and located where there was a higher likelihood of attention from a broader public. They also did not show clear trends during the time of the meditation.
