ABSTRACT

Two Scandinavian castles with long histories of haunting phenomena were investigated using physical measurements and subjective impressions. Physical measurements included electric and magnetic fields and background ionizing radiation. The subjective technique involved attempting to sense whether certain areas 'felt' unusual. The historical sightings and witness reports were compared to the measurements to see if they correlated. A few physical anomalies were recorded, but the subjective feelings were more interesting.
